Privacy Policy
The short version: we only ask for what we need to quote for your shoot, we only use it to talk to you about that shoot, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are
Pixelicious Photography is a photography and videography studio based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what we do with the personal information you give us through this website. If you have any question about it, email info@pixelicious.photography and we will answer you directly.
What we collect, and when
- Booking requests:
- When you complete the booking planner, we receive your name, email address, phone number, the answers you selected (service, duration, location, photographer, add-ons), your requested shoot date, and any notes you write. We also record the estimated quote our own pricing produces for those answers, and the date and time you ticked the box accepting our Terms & Conditions.
- Contact messages:
- When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number and your message.
- Analytics and advertising:
- We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how people find and use this site and which of our ads lead to an enquiry. They set cookies in your browser and send Google details of your visit, such as the pages you view, your device and browser, your approximate location, and whether you arrived from one of our ads. When you send a booking request or a contact message, or tap one of our WhatsApp links, Google Ads is told that it happened. With a booking request or contact message it also receives a hashed (scrambled) copy of contact details you entered, such as your email address, which Google matches against its own accounts to tell whether you came from one of our ads.
- Video playback:
- When you play one of our films, our video provider Mux records playback statistics, such as whether the video loaded smoothly and how long it played, and sets a cookie so it can tell a returning viewer from a new one.
- Your choices:
- You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, stop Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and turn off personalised ads in your Google account at myadcenter.google.com. The site works the same either way.
- Cookies:
- Apart from Google's and Mux's, the only cookie this site sets is the login session for our own staff using the admin panel.
Why we hold it
We use your details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry, quote for the work, and — if you go ahead — to plan and deliver your shoot. We do not sell your information. Apart from the Google Ads measurement described above, we do not share it with advertisers, and we will not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.
Who else sees it
- Our email provider:
- Enquiries are forwarded to the studio inbox by Resend, an email delivery service. Your message passes through their systems in order to reach us.
- Our hosting and database:
- The website and its database run on Railway, and uploaded media is stored with Cloudflare R2. Your submission is stored in that database.
- Google and Mux:
- Google receives the visit and measurement data described above and handles it under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Mux receives the playback statistics for the films you play.
- Nobody else:
- Only the Pixelicious team can sign in and read submitted enquiries.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into a booking are deleted within 24 months. Where you become a client, we keep the booking record for as long as we need it for our accounts and, where relevant, for the licensing of your images. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Your photographs
Photographs and video we take for you are covered by the agreement you sign with us and by our Terms & Conditions, not by this policy. In particular, whether your images may be shown in our portfolio or on social media is a decision that is yours to make, and we will ask you for it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email info@pixelicious.photography and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data protection rights, such as the UK or the EU, those rights apply to you here too.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS, submissions are stored in an access-controlled database, and only named studio accounts can read them. No system is perfect, but if a breach ever affected your information we would tell you.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
